April 8 - 19: External Sector Statistics
| At the request of the Central Bank of Samoa (CBS), CDOT conducted a technical assistance (TA) to improve the quality and coverage of the external sector statistics (ESS). The mission focused on the large external transactions and positions of the economy, including goods imports, travel credits, remittance credits, and official grants. The mission also identified new data sources that could help improve estimates of compensation of employes credits in the published balance of payments (BoP). |
